Bernie Sanders supporters expressed great disappointment on Wednesday morning when they awoke to find that their favorite candidate did not win a single of the 5 primary races on Tuesday. Even in Missouri where he was leading in the polls, he ended up with a virtual tie with his rival Hillary Clinton. In winning primaries in Illinois, Ohio, North Carolina and Florida, news media have pronounced that Clinton is back on track to win the nomination after her unexpected Michigan defeat.

Meanwhile, in the GOP field, Donald Trump won big in Florida, Illinois, and North Carolina. He lost to John Kasich in Ohio, who is that state’s governor. The biggest Republican bombshell of the week was Marco Rubio’s decision to drop out of the Presidential race.
