They also plan to challenge Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s plans to expand California prisons. As part of the YJC&#8217;s \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Smack down on Sac town,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d as they call it, activists will rally at the state capitol on Wednesday, March 28th to demand the shut down of youth prisons, an amendment to the three strikes law and the end of juvenile &#8220;life without parole&#8221; sentences. Beyond Prisons day is being sponsored by various activist organizations including the Youth Justice Coalition, as well as Critical Resistance, and Families to Amend California\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Three Strikes. <\/p>\n<p>Buses to Sacramento leave tonight, Tuesday March 27th at 9 pm.
