Art work depicting Bush and members of his cabinet flourished and were relished by many of us as expressions of dissent during a time of war and deception. While war has continued in different forms under President Obama there just seems to be less material to parody. Where are artists finding inspiration today? A new art exhibit hosted by the American Friends Service Committee opening tonight focuses on &#8220;the important legacy of artistic self-expression in in times of uncertainty, and showcases the ways artists play a role in building a sense of community, peace, and social justice.&#8221; The exhibit features acclaimed artists Robbie Conal and KPFK&#8217;s Lalo Alcaraz as well as several new and emerging artists. <\/p>\n<p><em>GUEST: artist Robbie Conal.
