The gathering is the second annual California Transgender Leadership Summit. As this is one of the few events of its kind in the US, response has been so strong that online registration for the summit was closed in February. Dozens of presenters will address the participants on the state of the transgender rights movement today, the goals of the movement, and ideas about how to transform California into a state where everyone can fully participate, regardless of their gender identity. <\/p>\n<p>NOTE: The summit organizers have decided to open up registration to everyone. This is a free event.
