Michael Eric Dyson is the Avalon Foundation Professor in the Humanities at the University of Pennsylvania. He has written over ten books including Holler If You Hear Me: Searching for Tupac Shakur; Why I Love Black Women; I May Not Get There With You: The True Martin Luther King, Jr; Making Malcolm: The Myth and Meaning of Malcolm X; Is Bill Cosby Right?, and Come Hell or High Water: Hurricane Katrina and the Color of Disaster. <\/p>\n

Michael Eric Dyson has never shied away from controversy and has taken on the likes of Ward Connerly and Ann Coulter. His latest book is called Debating Race \u00e2\u20ac\u201c a collection of many of Dyson\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s most memorable encounters and most poignant arguments on the topic of race.
