The tours, which are open to the public, will connect the history of that community to the conditions of the present day. Through the V-Map neighborhood mapping project, young people were trained to research their community\u2019s history through the resources of the Southern California Library. Youths leading the tours will offer their analysis and solutions to issues that affect their community such as economic conditions and transportation. The tours are approximately a mile in length,  and will highlight historical landmarks and cultural institutions.
