The multi-talented singer, musician, activist and actress has toured with many well known musicians such as Los Lobos, and has appeared in films such as the acclaimed &#8220;Star Maps.&#8221; Today she runs her own independent label, \u201cBring Your Love Records.\u201d Flores has released two solo bilingual albums \u201cTree of Hope,\u201d and \u201cThe Making of a Trophy Grrrl.\u201d The latter musically expressed the coming of age of a Latina in the cosmetically obsessed metropolis of Los Angeles. Now Lysa Flores is hard at work on her next album, \u201cImmigrant Daughter,\u201d which will feature collaborations with musicians such as John Doe and the legendary Flaco Jimenez.
