Hailing from Pasadena, Bowlin will showcase &#8220;Rise&#8221; at the politically progressive Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica for back-to-back Sunday shows. Written, produced and directed by Bowlin himself, &#8220;Rise&#8221; makes use of music, video, and live sketches in addition to cartoons, monologues, and performance pieces in its first act. A newly added second act focuses on Bowlin&#8217;s stand-up comedy routine which has been seen on shows like BET Comic View and Def Comedy Jam.
