Best known on the island nation for their feminist lyrics and compelling onstage personae, the three women rappers are quickly making a name for themselves in their new home. In Cuba, the influential group represented a strong feminist presence in a male-dominated underground scene and organized the female Hip Hop collective, \u201cOmegas Kilay.\u201d Las Krudas Cubensi, comprising of Wanda, Pasa, and Pelusa MC, haven\u2019t changed their style as they continue to advocate for women\u2019s rights with their music and poetry now in the U.S. With new songs, and an undying artistic ambition, Las Krudas Cubensi carry on with their mission playing to demonstrations, rallies, and cultural centers. Though they have performed in venues coast-to-coast, the group will finally debut in Los Angeles tonight. <\/p>\n<p><strong>EVENT INFORMATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Las Krudas will be premiering in Los Angeles at the Silverlake Lounge, 2906 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles 90026. Also performing will be Rebels to the Grain.
