On August 28th, 7 Palestinians freely left their country for the first time ever – they boarded two boats called the SS Free Gaza, and the SS Liberty, which had been used just days earlier by a group of international activists who sailed into Gaza from Cyprus in defiance of Israel’s on-going siege of the region. We have been following the story of the Free Gaza Movement since earlier in the year when they were in Los Angeles for a benefit concert to raise money for their effort. Recently we spoke with Huwaida Arraf just days after the boats arrived. Today we’re joined by one activist who was on the SS Free Gaza and joins us in studio. <\/p>\n
