Cuba cannot use others due to a US embargo.<\/p>\n<p>Starting from June 4, the extra access will be provided by the state telecommunications monopoly ETECSA for a reduced price than is currently charged.<\/p>\n<p>However, there still be no internet provided directly to private homes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s brilliant. For students, it\u2019s a fantastic tool. For the rest of the population, it\u2019s a way to communicate with the outside world. For me, the internet is everything,\u201d said technology student Jose Luis.<\/p>\n<p>Cuba has one of the lowest rates of internet usage in Latin America.
