The agency which opened its doors 2 years ago, was designed by now-Senator Elizabeth Warren to provide greater protection for consumers against banks and other lending institutions. <\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/business\/2013\/jul\/17\/ben-bernanke-fed-stimulus-programme\">Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke is expected to testify before Congress today and in his remarks which have been released ahead of time, Bernanke plans to end the government\u2019s $85 billion a month bond buying stimulus program. <\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/local\/lanow\/la-me-ln-hollywood-bands-of-robbers-20130717,0,7451651.story\">And in local news, the LA Times and others are reporting this morning that Hollywood was hit last night by a string of robberies and vandalism.
