Militants affiliated with Somalia\u2019s Al Shabaab group had held unknown numbers of people hostage since Saturday. So far two hostage takers have reportedly been killed and an evacuation of the remaining hostages is on-going. Among the dead are a number of foreigners including a well known poet from Ghana, Kofi Awooner, and four Britons, two Canadians, and two French. Clearly we care. Our hearts are broken again. The question is do we care enough?\u201d He added the shooting should \u201cbe a shock to all of us, as a nation and a people\u2026It ought to obsess us.
