Abd al-Rahim Hussayn Muhammad al-Nashiri, a Saudi man of Yemeni descent, and Abu Zubaydah, a Palestinian, were secretly transferred in 2002 to a prison in Poland under the US\u2019s Extraordinary Rendition program where they claim they were water boarded. The two men, who are currently being held at the US detention center in Guantanamo Bay, want Poland\u2019s government to be held accountable for allowing their torture to be committed on Polish soil. In more international news, the United Nations Human Rights Commissioner has cited \u201cmassive evidence\u201d linking top Syrian government officials to \u201cwar crimes and gross human rights violations.\u201d Commissioner Navi Pillai led a team of investigators to uncover who has been responsible for the humanitarian disaster in Syria\u2019s two and half year long conflict. The Commissioner has stated her desire to refer the case to the International Criminal Court in the Hague. The Syrian government has predictably rejected the findings of her panel. Here in the United States, President Obama will attempt to salvage his administration\u2019s reputation over the bungled rollout of healthcare.gov, the federally run website which was meant to be an easy-to-use online marketplace of health insurance plans for the uninsured. Obama will publicly address the nation later today to announce a better functioning site, which it is hoped will enroll at least 7 million uninsured Americans by the end of next March.
