He&#8217;ll be channeling the iconic lead singer of Queen as part of his part documentary-theater, part rock-concert play at Highways Performance Space. The play, called Farid Mercury, is the story of how a young Iranian Guatemalan deals with political events like the Iran Hostage crisis and the Iran-Iraq war, while simultaneously exploring the Chicano Punk Rock Scene, his search for a wrestling champion, and the death of his Iranian grandmother.
