His work has appeared on Ebony.com, Colorlines, and Truth-Out.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A group of visionary activists have just released a new video featuring Cornel West, Alice Walker, Angela Davis and many others to draw the links between Palestinian and African American communities. <\/p>\n<p>The soundtrack played is a new video just produced by Noura Erakat, featuring a group of about 60 visionary thinkers, activists, and celebrities. It attempts to draw similarities between Black and Palestinian struggles for freedom and self-determination in the face of state repression. Joining me to discuss the video and the campaign that it is promoting is one of the co-writers of the video&#8217;s script. <\/p>\n<p>On Monday&#8217;s show, we&#8217;ll hear from another of the co-writers of the script for the video who was also one of the narrators, Remi Kanazi.
