The rally was organized by the National Nurses United along with several environmental justice organizations such as Communities for a Better Environment, Food and Water Watch and 350.org. It took place as the United Nations climate summit, COP21, is in full swing in Paris, France. <\/p>\n<p>I was at the rally and spoke with some of the attendees. <\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ve listened to a special report from a rally at Pershing Square in Downtown LA that took place on Thursday morning, calling for an end to global warming.
