Based on archival research and oral testimonies, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The Mexican OC\u00e2\u20ac\u009d deals with subjects ranging from segregation to the so-called repatriation movement of the 1930\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s. The play is directed and written by Sara Guerrero in collaboration with Heather Enriquez, Apolonio Morales, Cristina Nava and Elizabeth Sekeresh. <\/p>\n<p>We had featured this play on Uprising when it was showing at El Centro in Santa Ana and decided to record it weeks later at KPFK&#8217;s studios. The radio version was  mixed and engineered by Pacifica Radio&#8217;s Mark Torres and produced and edited by Uprising&#8217;s very own Gabriel San Roman.
