North Korea&#8217;s testing of tested seven missiles in rapid succession last week sparked a flurry of diplomatic activity in the region and internationally including a draft UN Security Council resolution denouncing Pyongyang and threatening sanctions. When asked by reporters if time is running out for negotiations, Hill responded by saying: &#8216;No, I wouldn&#8217;t use that. Obviously, we are going to evaluate every day how we are (doing) on the diplomacy.&#8217; Meanwhile South Korea urged Pyongyang to return to the so-called six-party talks and resolve the stand-off through peaceful means.
