The President of the French Senate Commission on Tibet, expressed concerns over the destruction of traditional Tibetan buildings and found Chinese officials to be evasive over questions about exiled spiritual Tibetan leader, the Dalai Lama. Meanwhile, in the same week, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao expressed gratitude in Beijing to Nepali Prime Minister Sharma Oli during an official visit over Nepal\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s continued support for China\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s government over the issue of Tibet. Tibet has been under occupation by the Chinese government since 1959. Here in the US, a new documentary on the subject of China\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s continued occupation of Tibet and threats to the endangered Tibetan culture is set to open this Friday in Los Angeles and Pasadena. Directed by John Bush, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Vajra Sky Over Tibet,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d chronicles the spiritual and political stories of the occupied region.
