Donors Behind $11 Million Dark Donation Revealed on Eve of Election
On the eve of the election, the California Fair Political Practices Commission was able to extract the names of donors whose contributions totaling $11 million came from a shadowy Arizona based non-profit to the California based Small Business Action Committee. The SBAC has spent much of that previously anonymous donation to defeat Proposition 30 and pass proposition 32. As a result of a legal complaint it has now been revealed that the donations were in effect laundered through two groups, one of which is linked to the infamous rightwing billionaire Koch brothers. An admission of money laundering is likely to prompt further legal action against the Arizona group, Americans for Responsible Leadership, but not ’til after the election.

So let me get this straight, these “non-profit’s” can take “donations” and their “donors” can deduct it from their taxes? Sounds illegal to me!
