George Bush has a strange way of commemorating the third anniversary of the US invasion of Iraq. While tens of thousands of people around the world protested the on-going US occupation of Iraq, the White House has stepped up it’s terror-tactics with a new offensive – Operation Swarmer. It is being dubbed “the largest air assault since 2003.” US forces are sweeping through villages in Northern Iraq but some say that the operation was nothing more than a photo-op. No resistance or casualties were reported and about 40 suspects were detained. Meanwhile, the participation of the Iraqi army in Operation Swarmer is being high-lighted by the US military and major media.
