Candidates and leaders with the Green Party of the US are faulting Democrats for refusing to hold the Bush administration accountable for a mounting list of high crimes and misdemeanors. The Green Party had called for impeachment of President Bush initially in July 2003. Byron DeLear, is a Green Party candidate for Congress in California’s 28th District. He said, “Hardly a month goes by without major new evidence that the Bush White House has lied to the American people.” But, says the Green Party, as Bush’s crimes mount, why are the Democrats retreating and refusing to pursue impeachment?
