Eco Maya: An Earth Day Celebration

Since 1995, Los Angeles has been home to the Eco Maya Festival in celebration of Earth Day. The festival has attracted thousands of people each year. This year’s festival will highlight the environment and ecology as well as the various contributions of Mayan Culture. Hosted for the first time at the new Los Angeles State Historic Park, the 12th annual EcoMaya Festival takes place this Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The event will feature music, dance, cultural, artistic, and educational activities. Admission is free and KPFK is a media sponsor.
The Los Angeles State Historic Park is located at 1201 N. Spring Street and is accessible via the Metro Gold line.
