California’s Upcoming Election

As the election draws near, the favorites for the top office – the governor’s seat — ar changing. In Aprl State Controller Westly led in polls among democrats 26 to 20% but then a Public Policy Institute Poll showed that Westly had fallen 9 percentage points, trailing behind both State Treasurer Phil Angelides and “don’t know.” More recent polls show them pretty much neck and neck.
