KPFK interrupted regular programming yesterday to bring listeners special coverage of the escalating crisis in the Middle East. Uprising’s Sonali Kolhatkar hosted two hours of special coverage analysing the growing conflict between Israel, Lebanon and Palestine. Hour one features interviews with the editor ofMiddle East Report and Executive Director of the Middle East Research and Information Project Chris Toesing, Alternative Radio’s David Barsamian, and direct from Haifa, University of Haifa History Professor Ilan Pappe. Hour two features interviews with Hanan El Badry, Prodessor Emeritus at the University of Massachusetts Nasser Aruri, and from Beirut, Free Speech Radio News Correspondent, Jackson Allers.
