The Center for Constitutional Rights declared Wednesday July 19th Impeachment Day, as part of their efforts to battle the Bush administration’s attacks on the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and international law. Teach-ins were scheduled throughout the country. Today we end the show with an interview with Dave Lindorff on the topic of impeachment. Dave Lindorff’s recent books include “This Can’t Be Happening! Resisting the Disintegration of American Democracy” and “Killing Time: An Investigation into the Death Penalty Case of Mumia Abu-Jamal”. His latest book, coauthored with Barbara Olshanshky, is “The Case for Impeachment: The Legal Argument for Removing President George W. Bush from Office.
