GUESTS: Will Coley with Homies Unidos, Shiu-Ming Cheer civil rights coordinator with the South Asian Network

This Saturday there will be a town hall meeting to address the issues of racism and human rights in the context of immigration. The town hall is being organized by the South Asian Network in collaboration with the “Allies Collective.” This collective includes local organizations like the Garment Worker’s Center, Homies Unidos, Khmer Girls in Action, Koreatown Immigrant Workers Alliance, Pilipino Worker’s Center, Q-Team, and Youth Justice Coalition. KPFK is the media sponsor for this event.
