GUESTS: Sheila Nicholls, musican, Josh Hagelin, LA Food Not bombs, Rosa Romero, Axis of Justice

According to the US Department of Agriculture 12 out every 100 Homes is food insecure and dealing with basic hunger. This in the United States where the U.S. Government spends more on the military than all the rest of the countries on Earth combined. In that spirit Food Not Bombs provides a guerrilla interruption to the status quo by providing folks in need with food in the streets. Joining us in studio to talk about their work and their upcoming benefit concert is musican Sheila Nicholls, Josh Hagelin from LA Food not bombs, and Rosa Romero from Axis for Justice. AOJ is a non-profit activist org started from Tom Morello from Audioslave and Serge Tankian from System of a Down. AOJ is working with Food Not Bombs through Southern California and is the sponsor of this benefit.

Tom Morello, Sheila Nicholls, Alexi Murdoch, and Kid Lightening will be performing tonight at Hotel Cafe.

Hotel Cafe is located at 1623 1/2 Cahuenga Blvd in downtown Hollywood (between Hollywood and Sunset)

The cost is $10 and all proceeds go to the Axis of Justice Food Not Bombs program.
