GUEST: Nezam Manouchehri, film maker

Letters from Iran is a recent documentary by Iranian exile Nezam Manouchehri who returned to his homeland. Through letters written to a friend in the US, Manouchehri describes his homecoming and the ambivalent emotions it evokes in him. The 30 minute documentary shares glimpses of everyday life in Iran, how it has changed over the years, and how people are coping.

Letters from Iran, and A World Between, will be screening this Friday January 25th at the Zephyr Vegetarian Cafe, 340 E 4th Street in Long Beach, at 7 pm. Nezam Manouchehri will be present at the screening for a Q&A.
