Michael Eric Dyson is the Avalon Foundation Professor in the Humanities at the University of Pennsylvania. He has written over ten books including Holler If You Hear Me: Searching for Tupac Shakur; Why I Love Black Women; I May Not Get There With You: The True Martin Luther King, Jr; Making Malcolm: The Myth and Meaning of Malcolm X; Is Bill Cosby Right?, and Come Hell or High Water: Hurricane Katrina and the Color of Disaster.
Michael Eric Dyson has never shied away from controversy and has taken on the likes of Ward Connerly and Ann Coulter. His latest book is called Debating Race – a collection of many of Dyson’s most memorable encounters and most poignant arguments on the topic of race. Michael Eric Dyson joins us in studio today.
