For the past decade local Los Angeles political music bands have played every 4th of July at an event called The Farce of July. This year, The Farce of July celebrates its tenth anniversary at Self Help Graphics, 3802 Cesar Chavez Avenue in East Los Angeles from 12 noon through 10 pm. The event’s slogan has been “Art as a Weapon” and the line up this year includes Aztlan Underground, The Brat, In Lak Ech, Chicano Secret Service, Olmeca, and many others, including Quetzal.

Tickets to the Farce of July are $15 for adults. Children and adults get in free.
