USSF2007GUEST: Thenmozhi Soundararajan, on the National Organizing Committee of the USSF 2007, Executive Director of Third World Majority, occasional guest host of Uprising

A little over a week ago the first ever US Social Forum wrapped up in Atlanta, Georgia. On Uprising we spoke with two main organizers of the forum, whose mood was euphoric at the end of a 5-day series of panels, workshops, demonstrations and more, attended by more about 10,000 people. The attendees were extremely diverse in race, age, geographic origin, and political cause. Now that the dust has settled, many activists are asking the question “what now”? Joining us to dissect and critique the forum is one of the attendees and members of the National Organizing Forum of the USSF 2007.
