GUEST: SKIM, musician

Local artist SKIM offers a bridge between man and woman, native and immigrant, war and love. Introducing hip hop to the throb of Korean drums, and rapping ferociously over guitar while singing in angelic keys, SKIM escapes simple categorization. She convinces ears to listen, bodies to dance, and hearts to open. Under the guidance of Leila Steinberg, 2Pac’s former manager, and grass roots organizers everywhere from New York City to Los Angeles to Naju, Korea, SKIM continues to cultivate her art with the purpose of building lasting relationships between people and cultures through our hearts.

SKIM will be performing
Sunday September 23rd
At the Palmer Room
3387 Motor Ave, Los Angeles
