Peace Caucus at The Latino Congreso

Latino organizations, elected officials and community leaders from throughout the country will convene for the Second Annual National Latino Congreso, at the Downtown Sheraton through Tuesday. The Congreso aims to develop plans for public policy, advocacy, and legislative and electoral strategies. Some 2,000 people are expected to attend the Congreso. Tomorrow’s agenda focuses on U.S. Foreign and Trade Policy Implications for Latinos: The Iraq War, Globalization and the Post-Washington Consensus Era.
