Uprising Launches New Weekly Contest

We are proud to announce a new feature on Uprising called “Who Said That?” – a weekly contest in collaboration with the Pacifica Radio Archives. Each Wednesday we’ll play you a short soundbyte from the Archives’ vault and ask you to tell us who said that. All you have to do is call in and identify the voice. And we’ll send you the CD from the Pacifica Radio Archives that featured the clip you just heard.

    for every male listener to know that Man-sagyny has found firm purchase among the “broad”casters of KPFK.

    The shame of it is that I had the expectation for KPFK broadcasters to demonstrate something more evolved than a KKK mentality.
