Over the course of KPFK’s latest fund drive, Republican presidential candidate John McCain – the self-proclaimed maverick himself – was reportedly sighted on separate occasions to show his love for independent media.

Uprising disclaimer: any vocal similarities to a certain supposed maverick are purely coincidental and no right-wing politicians were hurt in the lampooning of this particular Republican presidential candidate!
