FlowWater rights activists are calling for Article 31 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to state that “Everyone has the right to clean and accessible water, adequate for the health and well-being of the individual and family, and no one shall be deprived of such access or quality of water due to individual economic circumstance.” Today around the world, particularly in the Global South, many communities lack access to clean drinking water. From war zones, to rural farms, disease and malnutrition are a major fallout. Still, awareness of water as a right is increasing, with activists and artists contributing their efforts to making water accessible to all.
