Eric Drooker Nixon’s “Warm Welcome” in Venezuela

Back in the day on May 13th, 1958, Vice President Richard Nixon’s motorcade was attacked by protesters in Caracas, Venezuela. Tricky Dick had been on a supposed “good will,” trip through Latin America when he found himself in an even trickier situation highlighting the region’s ill will towards U.S. policies. That day, an angry crowd was able to attack the Nixon mobile smashing its windows as the VP was huddled over by Secret Service men. Dare I ask why they were angry? By that time, Nixon’s higher up, President Eisenhower, helped overthrow a democratically elected government in Guatemala in 1954 and awarded the “Legion of Merit,” medal to the hated Venezuelan dictator Marcos Perez Jimenez that very same year.

The scare Nixon got in Venezuela didn’t change his tune, however. As President, his administration helped overthrow the democratically elected government of Salvador Allende in Chile in 1973. Still, I’m certain that for at least one second in that car, tricky dick was so frightened he had a jowl movement!

For Uprising, this is your truth professa’ saying it’s no mystery why they conceal our people’s history!
