The Dearborn Independent’s Anti-Semitism
Back in the day on May 22nd, 1920, the Dearborn Independent owned by Henry Ford ran an anti-Semitic cover story entitled, “The International Jew: The World’s Problem.” The first in a series that would consistently run for the next eighteen months, the article articulated a vast conspiracy theory that put forth the proposition that a cabal of Jews were seeking to control the world and the United States by permeating important institutions. Charles Pipp resigned as editor of the Dearborn Independent, also known as the Ford International Weekly, after refusing to run Jew bashing articles. William J. Cameron, however, was more than happy to promote Ford’s warped worldview once he took over. Notoriously anti-Semitic, Ford offered questionable apologies for the series after it caused an outcry.
Nevertheless, the general ideas of “The International Jew” continue to influence present day hate-mongers, especially online, where you can find sad excuses for websites like “La Voz de Aztlan,” carrying on the Dearborn Independent’s pitiful legacy.
For Uprising, this is your truth professa’ saying it’s no mystery why they conceal our people’s history!
