Latino Activist Accused of Electoral Fraud
Longtime Southern California activist and frequent Uprising guest Nativo Lopez was brought up on charges last Wednesday of electoral fraud. The California Secretary of State has alleged that the tireless advocate for Latino, worker and immigrant rights registered to vote in the city of Boyle Heights back in 2006 despite having been a resident of Orange County at the time. In all, Lopez faces four charges including fraudulent registration, fraudulent voting, document fraud and perjury. If convicted of the felonies, the National Director of Hermandad Mexicana Latinoamericana and President of the Mexican American Political Association could face up to three years in prison. Following the publicized arrest of another Latino activist, Alex Sanchez of Homies Unidos, Lopez states in a recent article in La Opinion, that the charges he now faces are baseless. This isn’t the first time allegations of electoral wrongdoing have been levied against the activist. In 1997, Lopez was accused, but never charged with registering undocumented immigrants to vote.

Old Larry Lopez, a true reconquista and hater. Well, maybe he isn’t that bad. He just found a way to make a living not working. But voter fraud is going to far and Larry should be jailed for consiring with La Raza to rigg U.S. election. Someone has to be made an example of and if I were a judge, not the mealy mouth liberal type you understand, Larry, I mean “Nativo”, would do some time.
Larry Lopez was recalled from the Santa Ana school board by latino parents fed up with his anti english bias. It was just a matter of time before he was caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
Good. This stinking, lying, criminal has been engaged in electoral fraud for years. He was instrumental in getting thousands of illegal aliens registered in OC, and now hopefully will go rot in jail.
I am sick of Mexican Nationals sneaking into the U.S. to destroy it with their typical Mexican corruption.
Their stinking country is a mess due to immorality and corruption and they try to escape that stinking hole only to enter the U.S. and make our once nice country into that same stinking hole.
We are sick of this Nativo Lopez.
Take your corrupt back to Mexico where it belongs.
I hope you are jailed for a long time. Too bad it’s not in Mexico.
