Anti-Immigrant Proposition In the Works Targets Children
Anti-immigration activists and organizations are working towards a new initiative that would end state benefits for undocumented immigrants and their legal status children. Barbara Coe of the California Coalition for Immigration Reform, who co-authored Prop 187 in 1994, is a leading supporter of the new measure. Sharing much in common with its predecessor, the effort, which is seeking to qualify for the June 2010 ballot, is aimed at eliminating public services to the undocumented population such as CalWorks benefits. The controversial initiative also contains a provision that would challenge the citizenship of children born to parents who are in the state without papers. Coming at a time when the state is facing a $26 billion dollar budget deficit, anti-immigrant activists are proposing the measure as a way to solve the crisis. They claim that the state of California spends hundreds of millions of dollars annually to teach, provide health care and incarcerate undocumented immigrants.

The need to curtail illegal immigration prompted Congress to enact the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) of 1986. The IRCA toughened criminal sanctions for employers who hired illegal aliens, denied illegal aliens federally funded welfare benefits, and legitimized some aliens through an amnesty program–EXCEPT THESE LAWS NEVER WERE ENFORCED. The real enigma lies in the wording of the 1986 law? The IRCA toughened–CRIMINAL SANCTIONS–for employers who hired illegal aliens, DENIED ILLEGAL ALIENS FEDERALLY FUNDED WELFARE BENEFITS. Neither the federal government, nor state county have denied most benefits to illegal immigrants.
That is why one state–California–is involved in a monstrous budget deficit? AS Always–Everything in the way of enforcement that actually–WORKS–is either eliminated, tabled or weakened so it was never meant to do the job? That goes for E-verify? But public outrage that fell upon the conspirators in Washington and state capitols, was mollified by the out-reach calls that descended upon them like the demons of hell. E-Verify must be a federal mandated tool, for everybody whose in the workplace. Old-timers and new employees. Otherwise is not going to work correctly?
It’s a very simple misleading trick, to add an amendment, or author some other new enforcement tool, to divert the American peoples view of yet another deconstruction of a powerful model to confuse us? America can never have a Universal health care, until we remove illegal immigrants from the system?
Before these morons in the beltway decommission or rescind something, keep the other enforcement law on track. The SAVE ACT is a law, but its already being readied for the scrap heap. The puppets of big business in Washington need to know, that they–WORK–for us–the voters? The NO MATCH letter was never given a chance to work, because the anti-sovereignty groups, the ACLU–raised its ugly head and filed against it in court. In the long run the E-Verify extraction system, backed up by a very large force of ICE inspectors, would soon have the illegal immigrants running to the border, or to board a jet plane home.
That is why Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger refuses to sign any legislation for higher taxes, in a collapsing economy that was a financial icon for the whole of America. Bright lights are on at night in the Democratic-Liberal assembly building in Sacramento and has so far failed to pass any budget agreement. I wish them luck as they try to find relieve from the crushing pressure of $24.5 billion dollars, that they have imposed on themselves from the tax and spend politicians that infest the state capitol. Senator Schumer said he had contacted the Labor Unions, the United States Chamber of Commerce and Big Business, and that an amnesty program was in the works. Obviously the American People were not contacted and there are a lot of polls to look at at this point.
Lets see… the census counts everyone in the United States. There are 44 million Hispanics in this country. 12 million are illegal aliens according to the Immigration Service and clearly that is wrong as you look at the money sent back to Mexico, if nothing else. Half those illegal aliens in this country have two or more children (Wic’s and local welfare goes up with more children) that the Federal Government calls Citizens, and that the 14th Amendment calls illegal. If we go with the Constitution, there are perhaps 20 million illegal aliens in that 44 million Hispanics. How many Cubans are here in refuge, or otherwise? How many illegal aliens have deep cover with I.D.s that were purchased from Federal Employees? 4 million people in Puerto Rico. Soooo… less than 20 million Hispanic Citizens?
The Hispanics have enormous support from the Ford Foundation and all the rest, and they are kicking the beezel bub out of the American People. I wonder now if anyone can stop the amnesty.
According to the SCOTUS, children born to foreign invaders (illegal aliens) are NOT entitled to birthright US citizenship under the 14th Amendment — they retain the citizenship of their invader parents. So, according to the US Constitution, what are we supposed to do with these foreign invaders and their faux-citizen offspring? Repel the invaders, that’s what! Time to follow the law of the land, people, and send the illegals and their spawn packing! Its the constitional thing to do, it is the legal thing to do, and most importantly, it is the CORRECT thing to do. Anyone who refuses to do so is guilty of treason for aiding and abetting a foreign invasion.
