UK Collective D-Fuse Showcases Work on Cities and Migration At USC Event
In a video exploration of urban landscapes, the UK-based media collective D-Fuse, examine the effects of migration into cities. Juxtaposing footage from some of the most populous metropolitan centers in East Asia and the Pacific Rim, the work, entitled Endless Cities, combines music, imagery, and print. Endless Cities is part of a multi-media event taking place at the USC campus tonight called Rhythms and Visions.
Uprising host Sonali Kolhatkar spoke with Matthias Kispert, sound artist and member of D-fuse, and Thenmozhi Soundararjan, Producer and Artist at the USC Rhythms and Visions event on Friday April 22, 2011.
