The Republican National Convention officially starts today, after its first day was canceled due to Hurricane Isaac. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and Mitt Romney’s wife, Ann, will address the convention today and are expected to formally introduce Romney as the Presidential nominee. KPFK will be broadcasting special coverage from the conventions every day this week and next week from 5 to 9 pm, hosted by Mitch Jeserich, Davey D, and KPFK’s own Margaret Prescod, host of the 7 am show, Sojourner Truth.
