Coming up on August 28, 2013
We’ll spend the hour focusing on the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, exactly 50 years ago. We’ll hear about the “People’s History” of the march from author Charles Euchner, and the sounds and music of the march from the Pacifica Radio Archives. And we’ll have a roundtable discussion with a veteran of the original march, an immigrant rights activist, and a labor activist about the parallels between the civil rights movement and today’s movements.
