One of the founders of LA’s acclaimed Chicano satire and performance group Culture Clash, has a new movie about what else but LA? Richard Montoya’s very first feature film, based on his stage play of the same name, Water and Power, is a neo-noir film about 2 brothers in Los Angeles, the Garcia twins, bizarrely nicknamed Water and Power.
The film is presented by Edward James Olmos and debuted at the LA Latino Film Festival. It opens at in AMC theaters on Friday May 2nd.

Formed nearly 20 years ago the multiple Grammy award winning band Ozomatli emerged out of Los Angeles in 1995 bringing their unique mix of rock, hip hop, funk, and Latin music to the world.
