A new book by Brigid Schulte called Overwhelmed: Work, Love and Play When No One Has The Time takes a critical look at the mounting time pressures we feel in our daily lives. Part autobiographical, part sociological analysis, Schulte, a mother of two and an award winning journalist for the Washington Post, part of a team that won the Pulitzer, lays out the case for why we need to slow down as a society.
