Election Day Special: What Can We Expect From a Republican Dominated Congress?
Americans are casting votes today in mid-term elections, which traditionally have low turnout, but which could signify the direction of the nation’s future. Polls suggest Republicans are poised to take control of the Senate albeit with a smaller margin than the last election. The current balance of 55 to 45 in favor of Democrats may flip to 50 to 47, with 2 possible runoffs and one independent who may or may not caucus with Democrats.

What does such a scenario mean – not just for President Obama’s remaining term, but for legislation and Congressional decision making?
