Report: Hollywood Gets Failing Grades on Diversity Again

GUEST: Darnell Hunt, Professor of Sociology and African American Studies, Chair of the Department of Sociology, and the Director of the Ralph J. Bunche Center for African American Studies at UCLA.

As the brouhaha over the Oscars being “so white” starts to die out, one wonders if the discussion on diversity in film will come up only once a year. Ensuring fair representation of people of color and women requires year-round effort and one of the institutions holding Hollywood’s feet to the fire is the Ralph J. Bunche Center for African American Studies at UCLA, which issues a yearly report on the industry.

Another story to highlight the injustice of the American way of life! How can the Oscars not nominate someone! I am sure liberal Hollywood has the flyer with all appropriate box’s to be checked! If Blacks or whites were not chosen so be it!
It’s now forced on everyone living in the country to conform or be labeled some name to damage that person!
Now since there isn’t enough Women directors a mandate has come down either do as the left says or be punished!
You clowns have created a society that sees victimization unless you happen to be straight and white plus a man! If you meet those qualities no experience allows you to use the card of being victim@
