World Social Forum – Nairobi, Kenya
| the entire program
GUEST: Micheal Guerrero, Executive Director of Grassroots Global Justice
Grassroots Global Justice is an alliance of over 50 U.S.-based grassroots groups that have been organizing to build an agenda for power for working and poor people. For over five years, GGJ has been bringing organizations who are frontline to the impacts of globalization in the United States to meet and strategize with their peers at the World Social Forum. The World Social Forum, which has grown into more than an oppositional gathering of the World Economic Forum, is really an international meeting place for all of civil society to discuss how, in its slogan “ Another World is Possible.”
